Broadcast back on 98.0 FM Laganini FM returned to broadcasting on Friday at noon on frequency 98.0 FM. The program is again available through the mobile app and streaming. The comeback follows only days after a major fire in the Vjesnik tower destroyed their newly renovated studio on the 16th floor.
Support from fellow broadcasters The station restarted its program thanks to the support of colleagues from other radio stations and friends who provided equipment and temporary studio space. The Laganini FM team highlights that industry solidarity enabled a rapid return to air.
Host statement Radio host Kornelije Hećimović emphasized that the fire took the space and equipment, but not the team spirit. He said that determination, unity and loyal listeners made the comeback possible.
Temporary studio Until the new studio is ready, the team will work from a temporary location. The fire destroyed all technical equipment, so Laganini FM could not broadcast from Monday evening until Thursday noon.
Plans and reconstruction Studio reconstruction and finding a new permanent home are ahead. The team thanked institutions, partners and colleagues who provided support. Full stability will require time and help, but Laganini FM steps forward with optimism.
